Department Overview:

Universal GW portal: Group is instrumental in bringing up together different radio systems.
It brings the best of both Data Gateway and Voice gateway in one place. Where different Radio systems can collaboratively do PTT operations as well as Data-Based operations.

Job Description:

• Understand functional and non-functional testing requirements for APIs
• Excellent Python/Node.js knowledge & experienced in writing test scripts for Regression Test automation, Exposure to Rest API’s.
• Hands-on experience in Functional and UI testing.
• Experience in all Software Life Cycle models including expertise in Testing Life Cycle
• Must be able to use all web methods like GET, PUT, POST, DELETE, etc.
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools like (Jenkins, Azure Pipeline).
• Experience with tools like Nginx, Gunicorn, etc.
• Validate feedback, response time, and error code
• Validate XML and JSON body using JSON Parser
• Working experience with JavaScript, REST, JSON, XML & OPEN API Standards. And knowledge of Web services such as RESTful.
• Should have strong problem-solving skill, commitment & ownership
• Design and optimize Jenkins jobs for builds to support CI and CD
• Exposure to Agile, Scrum, Jira and Confluence
• Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills
• Should be capable of designing new test scenarios & scripting
• Willingness to take up Manual and Automation tasks
• Conduct peer reviews of test cases and automation scripts
• Experience with test-driven development and Git.

Job Requirements:

• Automation with good expertise in Python and Node.js Application testing.
• Experienced in automating RESTful APIs and have good knowledge of RESTful design patterns, designing and developing large-scale enterprise-grade distributed systems and applications.
• Proficient in Fully Responsive Web Applications
• Experience with JSON, XML & SVN/GIT
• Familiar with Agile development methodologies and test-driven development
• Self-motivated, results-driven, individual must be passionate about the work
