Eligibility Criteria for Akamai Recruitment 2022:
- Have 0-2 years of relevant experience and a bachelors degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or its equivalent
- Have experience and knowledge of Database programming languages, ideally in Oracle PL/SQL OR Microsoft SQL Server T-SQL
- Have experience in Scripting languages such as Python or VB scripting
- Be self-motivated, trouble-shooting skills, highly responsible, and have effective communication skills
Job Description:-
As a Software Engineer, you will work in a global environment and provide an individual contribution to the applications and integration efforts that support the different Order to Cash tools. You will apply your knowledge and trouble-shooting skills in a variety of solutions for business problems the team is working on.
Job responsibilities:
- Create solutions to enhance existing database applications
- Provide second level of production support to our internal customers by following existing procedures and introducing more efficient support processes, where necessary
- Perform unit testing and coordinate with BSA and QA team to ensure system modifications are ready for the end user acceptance.
- Work effectively in all phases of the software development lifecycle
- Identify, clarify, and resolve system development and maintenance activity issues and risks, escalating them as needed
